Hey there, I'm Diana.
I know what it feels like to have big dreams and no clear path to follow. I began with a love for stories and a need to create something meaningful, even when I wasn’t sure where or how to start.
Words became my constant. I spent six years in college driven by an insatiable love of learning, and sixteen years teaching English in high schools, community colleges, and universities. I helped students find their voices while learning, again and again, how writing creates space for history, imagination, and belonging.
Breaking molds was not easy, but it taught me this: writing is not a competition. It is a way to connect, to create, and to grow into who you are becoming. That belief shapes both the work I write and the way I support other writers today.
I'm not just a writer. I've been a writing teacher my whole career. And I'm here to help.

My Story
I’m a first-gen writer who took the scenic route: years teaching English across high school and college while building my own voice as an author.
I’ve spent years teaching, coaching, and working with students across high school and college writing, from first drafts to final papers. I know the highs (when your ideas click) and the lows (the messy middle, the overthinking, the late-night edits).
Because I work closely with students and academic writing every day, my tutoring and feedback are practical, clear, and supportive: the guidance you need, right when you need it, with next steps you can actually apply immediately.

I SPEAK 3 LANGUAGES!
And, yes, they all rattle around up in my head. It's kinda crowded. I grew up speaking English and Portuguese and then added Spanish to mix because why not?
I LOVE TO TRAVEL!
Like anywhere! I have a go bag at the ready and I'm always scouring the web for cheap flights, but more recently, I'm learning how to tow a fifth wheel.
I MAY HAVE A SMALL OBSESSION WITH ESPRESSO...
But who doesn't? Come on. My fav is a double shot of espresso with soy milk and a little brown sugar, on ice, and with lots of foam. I also won't turn down uma bica de cafe.
